Norm, Daniele, Elizabeth and I took up the covenanted Lord Strathcona race on Sunday.
Very nice steady western winds.
We had a lousy start, we were too far from RC when the sequence started.
Winds were nice and steady. We tacked too far to reach the windmill channel, we were not closed haul.
Went through the windmill channel without incident and eventually tacked to BEA B and ran back through the seaway, mostly on Otto and beer.
We came in 8 out of 9, beating Fugu by a long shot.
Liam did very well, probably because her 115 was better than our 135 for the stronger winds.
The top batton was missing.
