Winds were stronger than expected.
I decided to change the head sail from 155 to 135. A good thing. Winds were supposed to be under 11, but were over 15.
We did a quick sail change with Hugh and set off to the channel, where we raised the 135.
We tried a reef of the main, but we decided that it was hindering us, so we shook out the reef. The new boom rebuild made the reefing much smoother.
We tacked around and were too far to hear the start, but the RC gave us our starting time.
We had a good start. 16 nm starting about 11AM, finishing at 3PM.
Fourth place
Sylvie left for her supper, leaving her HH foul-weather gear behind. Scalett and I had a beer, and she departed.
On Sunday, I thought Carole was going to come sailing, but I had mistaken her meaning to be the following Sunday. I decided it was a good day to bike to St. Eustache, and I did it.
