Daniele came to the club late Friday night. Next morning we there was practically no winds so I opted to skip the Annual Regatta. "The winds were light but
finally 2 races were held with over 17 boats participating. It was
definitely an exercise in patience but still a nice way to spend part of the
long weekend."
We packed up the two Kayaks and set sail for the Sand Bars. We set up the cockpit tent and kayaked towards the seaway. I was hungry so we came back and I had one of Jimmy's cup cake.
Fugu, Zig Zag and Dissidence were floating around too.
Supper was half a pressed chicken cooked slowly with half tomatoes and potatoes. Nice sunset.
Sunday started slow and nice. We napped and then took off in nice 10-13 knots of winds with just the headsail and the two kayaks to Baie d'Urfie and back. On the way back, one kayak got swamped.
Got back to the harbour and we hauled the kayak out and drained it. Also removed the waterline tape from Talllisman IV.
We worked until late and got home with two cars to omelettes and beer.
Nice weekend.
