Long weekend with Cindy

Cindy dropped by the club on Saturday after the Duggan cup was cancelled.

Cedric's jib got loose.  I had to go fix it.

Nice sail from club channel to St. Anne.  We stayed only for 10 minutes or so.  I was not too confident about the dockage tied up to rails at a parking lot.  We left and we piloted the channel between Ile Perrot and Dowkers for the first time ever.  10 feet minimum depth in high waters.

We anchored alone at Dowkers South.

Nice swim.  Supper of Kefta and spinach salad.

Later Seal Cove came and anchored. Overnight Sylvie apparently came around looking for us. They saw Seal Cove but not Bellum. They went off and anchored in some channel between Dowkers and two small islands about 1 AM.  The NE winds were no fun for them.

It was a little rocky but not too bad.  Supposed to be gusts to 20 knots from North.

Next day we lounged around,  Norm came by in the dinghy.

About 5, we left slowly sailing for the club and Cindy wanted to see the sandbars.  So we sailed there and decided to stay there and we cooked the Confit Canard with rice and leftover salad.  It was awesome.  Spent the night there and enjoyed a great sunset and spectacular sunrise over Montreal.  The anchor alarm came on twice but we did not drift.

There lots of big winged bugs in the cockpit in the morning,  We did a wash down and motored to the club and took Chris' van back to the office.
