Frostbite 1

Norm, Maud, Frank and Jean-Luc joined us in light and fluky winds

Tried the spinnaker sock and it was badly twisted.

Conventional spinnaker worked.

First race, we messed up.

Second race, on the second circuit, the winds were very fluky and we drifted and made a big circle around the windward mark.   We could not finish and abandoned the race.

We tried to fly the spinnaker back to the club.

The winds shifted to the east so we reversed under motor filling the spinnaker.  Interesting.

Turns out they did try a third race.  A very short race.

Afterwards, we put up the mast on Flow Control.

Very very flaky winds

Mast is up
