BNI Challenge

Karen cancelled. Pierre O was supposed to come but had not responded to our emails, but he did show up.  Jimmy made it - borrowing a car from Pina.  Chris came late and we had to set up the 150 and take off for the race.  So tough to get crew at last minute.

We hastily removed the drum and set up the 155.

Pierre O had never been on a sailboat before, but he was a donner, so that was a good thing.

We had a good race in light winds, which shifted from North West to South East so it was almost all beating except for approaching the windward mark when the winds shifted.

BC44 was not where it was supposed to be or where we thought it was.  Many boats passed BC45 thinking it was BC44.  I think the replaced BC 44 with BC 45 and place BC 44 further north west of the old BC 44.

Supper with a very nice duck leg.
