FFR with Scarlett, Don and Phil

Friday's weather looked iffy... We went out anyways.

I changed the head sail for the 155 and the crew helped fold the North 135.

Christine did not show up, Andreane cancelled due to traffic and weather.

Scarlette was very enthusiastic.  Don and Phil were Adult Sailing students

The race was cancelled after several thunderbolts and the lack of winds.  We sailed back through the gut and the winds picked up and it was only 7:10 so we tacked, gybed and went out for a nice sail, returning at 8:15.  Scarlette is very passionate about sailing.  Might become a crew member.

Scarlette and I stayed for supper and afterwards, the crew agreed to cancel our participation in Lord Strathcona.

PS: Earlier that day I went to PCYC to unbolt the shaft, water intake and exhaust from Astri followed by a $7 ice cream at Wild Willy's and then biked to IGA to get lunch for Strathcona and Boathouse to try to get Bow Shackle to replace the one I gave Sylvie.  Bill had dropped it in the water.
