SPI practise with Yves and Celine

At 7PM, Yves and Celine came to do Spinnaker practice.

The winds were from the West so we motored out past PCYC church and flew the spinnaker.  Some problems - most notably I used the wrong halyard and could not pull it all the way up. It was supposed to be the Yellow Halyard. Not the red one.

The winds came rose to 15 knots and we were heading for the rocks so we doused it and sailed back home.

I was impressed by their spinnaker skills.  We used the tweakers, no guys, and end-to-end jibe.  We all agreed exactly how it should be flown.
