windless rachael

Rachael came to the club at 11  We took off trying to sail in ultra-low winds.  We motored up the channel and tried to tack around the lighthouse, but I almost hit the lighthouse before tacking south as winds descended.  Ended up trying to sail the zig-zag channel without out much success.  We ended up anchoring just the other side of the nearby cardinal, put up the umbrella, and passed the day having salad with chicken.  I swam a bit in 17-degree water.  Redline passed us leaving the club.

At 16h15, we pulled anchor and entered the harbour service dock, and did a pump-out. the fuel dock was closed.

We went to the FFR meeting on the lawn.
