Kirill, Anna and Adrian signed up for adult sailing.
Kiritll has a skipper/captain's license from Turkey and has chartered. He wanted to learn more about anchoring. He was very interested to joining the club and sailng the sharks. He was used to a wheel and had problems with the tiller and some problems holding a course.
Anna sailed dinghies a long time ago and wanted to get back into sailing. She not so comfortable at the helm but did improve. She worked for Chateau Westmount and lived in NDG.
Adrian had raced/sailed with Matt Penny and very competently helmed the boat out of the harbour and through tacks and other maneuvers.
We practised tacks, gybes, chicken gybes, COB, heave to, anchoring. Anna had to leave for work and Adrian and Kirill had some drinks on Bellum.
Winds were very light from the east.
